The climbing claim combines two separate rises with room between them. Measure both heights, the width of the first landing and the approach space. A single tall lip, a narrow metal rail and a broad two-stage doorway are different obstacles. Do not use the combined figure as evidence that the robot can clean a staircase or cross every raised doorway in the home.

Clearance is a route, not one measurement

A sofa may have a low center brace even when the front opening looks generous. Measure beneath the full route, including sloping feet, hanging fabric and the return path. Flow’s published low profile is useful, but the manufacturer warns that scraping may occur at the limit. If under-furniture cleaning is the main reason for upgrading, leave a margin and test that exact route during the return period.

Mostly hard floors with daily mopping: Flow is worth considering if roller washing addresses your main cleaning burden. Check the finished floor and the maintenance afterward. Repeated heavy stain treatment can affect water consumption and task duration, so the easiest routine is not necessarily the one with the highest settings enabled everywhere.

A carpet-heavy home with some hard floors: compare how the alternatives isolate their wet parts. Flow advertises a roller shield and lift, while the other two Saros profiles describe mop detachment. Check rugs, fringes and pile height individually. Neither a shield nor a detachable mop removes the need for sensible carpet settings and a clear first mapping run.

A home with limited utility space: use the dock measurements to plan tank access, roller removal and a route to the sink. The cabinet-like appearance does not mean the station can be enclosed tightly. A cleaning system becomes inconvenient quickly if every dirty-water trip requires moving furniture or lifting the dock out of a cupboard.

Those details are useful only if the owner can reach them comfortably in the chosen installation spot.

Confirm local availability and pricing for the approved detergent, bags, filters and replacement roller before buying. Follow the supplied manual for which components can be washed and how they must dry. During an initial trial, judge the full sequence from starting a job through emptying and rinsing; a good floor result with an awkward maintenance routine can still be a poor fit.

Flow’s most useful distinction is its roller-based approach to everyday hard-floor care. Compare it with the pad-based Saros options using your actual rooms, obstacles and storage space. A confirmed local price and a clear return policy should complete the decision.
