Roborock introduced RockAqua P1 at IFA Berlin in September 2026, marking the debut of its pool-cleaning product line. The announcement takes the company's autonomous-cleaning portfolio into a different operating environment from the indoor floors on which its robot-vacuum business was built.

The IFA release describes a machine intended to clean pool floors, walls, the water surface and shallow platforms. Camera-based obstacle avoidance and dirt detection are designed to guide its work, while automatic parking at the waterline is intended to simplify retrieval when cleaning is complete.

Roborock announced a four-liter debris basket with dual filtration and a stated runtime of up to 3.5 hours. These are launch specifications for RockAqua P1, with supported pool conditions and operating modes relevant to the actual cleaning cycle. The product's pool-specific movement and filtration requirements distinguish it from a household vacuum adapted only in name.

The debut appeared alongside Saros 20 Flow, new wet-and-dry cleaners and a robotic mower. Together, the displays presented expansion across several cleaning categories. The IFA announcement introduced the pool platform but did not establish a single worldwide price or retail date; regional sales and support arrangements were separate parts of the rollout.
