What Aqua20 brings to the shortlist
Aqua20 Pro Ultra Roller X Complete combines a rinsing roller with steam assistance. The manufacturer’s IFA announcement positions it around sticky residue, edge reach and difficult transitions. The practical question is whether those additions solve the areas your current cleaner misses. A smooth open room and a cluttered kitchen create different demands even when they contain the same floor material.
This is an official-source guide, not a hands-on review. The German release date is still ahead of the verification date. Treat the page as a purchasing shortlist with explicit open questions: local delivery, final accessories, physical dimensions and independent cleaning performance. A launch announcement cannot answer every ownership question.
Steam and continuously rinsed mopping
The roller receives fresh water while the system removes used water. Steam adds a separate treatment stage. For buyers, the relevant demonstration is a difficult dried patch followed by a clean section of floor: look for residue, excess moisture and tracks left after drying. A dramatic steam graphic does not show whether the finished surface meets your expectations.
Check the floor manufacturer’s care instructions before selecting a heated cleaner. The stated steam-core temperature is not a floor-contact measurement, and permission to damp-mop a surface does not automatically mean steam is appropriate. Ask for the exact regional operating instructions and approved solution. These checks matter especially where a floor warranty specifies cleaning methods.
Reach, thresholds and furniture fit
The extending roller and side brush are designed to reach areas that a fixed-width cleaning head can leave behind. Assess the space around chair legs and along kitchen cabinets, including recessed plinths. An extension figure cannot establish access where the robot body itself cannot turn. Include those locations in a seller demonstration or return-period trial.
Keep single-layer and double-layer obstacle claims separate. Measure both rises and the landing between them, then ask whether your geometry is supported. Do not assume the robot can use stairs. Its body height is not verified in this guide, so buyers with low furniture should resolve that dimension before comparing it with the X60 Ultra.
Versions and market differences
The full name includes Pro, Ultra, Roller X and Complete. Keep that complete identifier on a quotation and check the regional model code. Similar names can hide a different station or accessory package. The German preview schedules September 21 availability; the UK announcement supplies an RRP and an available-soon statement. Neither proves stock in another country.
A launch discount should be applied to a verified reference price, not used to invent one. Compare the delivered package, local warranty and replacement parts together. If a retailer lists an import before local launch, establish who will provide repairs and which app region it uses. Confirm written delivery terms before planning to replace an essential appliance.
Maintenance and ownership
A roller, steam path and water-handling station create several care points. Request the maintenance schedule for the final regional machine, then check access to the roller, collection passages and tanks. Consider where wet components will be cleaned and dried. A cabinet layout should leave room for tank removal and service, rather than fitting only the closed station.
Obtain local prices for the roller, brushes, filters, dust bags and approved cleaning solution. Automatic washing reduces a recurring task but does not establish that every collection area stays clean indefinitely. Inspect anti-tangle brushes after hair-heavy cleaning. The useful ownership comparison is how much attention each system needs over a normal week, including water handling.
WCB buying view
Aqua20 deserves attention if heated roller cleaning and edge reach match your main problem. Compare it with the lower-profile X60 Ultra and the Saros 20 Flow, then resolve the unknown dimensions and local package. A purchasing decision becomes stronger when the manufacturer’s feature list is matched to your hardest stain, narrowest access point and realistic maintenance routine.

Is Aqua20 Pro Ultra Roller X Complete available now?
The German preview page schedules availability for September 21, 2026. As checked on September 10, that date is still in the future. The UK announcement says available soon; it does not establish immediate UK delivery.
What is the announced price?
Dreame announced a UK RRP of GBP 1,299. The German preview advertises a launch discount but does not establish the final selling price used in this guide. A discount amount alone is not a product price.
Does 180°C mean the floor receives steam at 180°C?
No. The manufacturer specifies the steam core. Temperature falls along the delivery path and depends on conditions. Confirm that your flooring permits the intended steam-cleaning method.
Can it climb a single 10 cm threshold?
That is not the published claim. Dreame separates a 5 cm single-layer claim from a 10 cm double-layer claim. Intermediate depth, surface grip and approach geometry matter.
How is it different from Dreame X60 Ultra?
Aqua20 uses a roller with steam assistance; X60 Ultra uses rotating thermal pads. X60 also has a verified 79.5 mm body height. Do not transfer that dimension or its consumables to Aqua20.
Does the 8 cm extension clean every corner?
It describes the extension mechanism’s reach, not guaranteed coverage behind every obstacle. Chair spacing, corners and objects near a wall can still limit access.
Is this a hands-on review?
No. This guide organizes official launch information, price status and practical selection questions. WCB has not measured stain removal, noise, reliability or real-home threshold performance for this model.
