X60 Ultra is part of Dreame’s 2026 flagship family, but family names conceal important differences. This profile concerns X60 Ultra, not X60 Max Ultra Complete, X60 Pro Ultra or every regional X60 package. The global X60 specification is used alongside the US sales listing and the model’s support record.

The X50 Ultra reference lists an 89 mm retracted height and a 42 mm single-step claim. X60 Ultra lists 79.5 mm and 45 mm respectively. That makes access under furniture a more useful upgrade question than simply comparing model numbers. The difference can matter when an older robot cannot enter a particular gap, but offers little benefit where both already fit.

WCB assessment: write down the failed routes on your current robot before looking at the new one. If the pain point is ordinary dust on a flat, open floor, compare maintenance condition and settings before assuming that an upgrade will solve it.

Retractable navigation and low furniture

A retractable sensor allows a lower operating profile in confined spaces. That is a practical distinction between the listed sensor-up and sensor-down dimensions. Plan for how the robot enters, turns and exits, rather than judging only the open front of a sofa. Loose upholstery can hang below the frame and should be secured before a trial.

Dual brushes and hair management

The two-brush arrangement aims to move hair into the suction path. In a pet home, the useful observation is where hair accumulates after repeated runs: brush ends, bearings, the bin inlet or the filter. Maintenance-friendly removal of those parts matters alongside a clean-looking floor. Keep a separate solution for stairs, upholstery and other places the robot cannot reach.

Warm mopping and hotter dock washing

Dreame distinguishes its warm-water floor-cleaning claim from the much hotter self-cleaning process at the dock. A temperature printed prominently on a product page should not be treated as an independently verified stain-removal result. On wood or other moisture-sensitive surfaces, start with the flooring maker’s cleaning guidance and suitable water settings.

A dock that becomes part of the room

The dock’s water tanks and bag reduce frequent intervention, but they need access. Picture lifting a full tank without hitting a shelf, removing the used-water tank without dripping over a rug, and reaching the ramp for cleaning. Those small tasks determine whether an automated cleaner remains convenient after the novelty wears off.

• Low furniture with limited clearance: assess the retracted profile on the actual route. A few millimetres are useful only if the entire underside is unobstructed.
• Mixed rugs and hard floors: check pad removal and carpet-first settings. Test rug tassels and transitions while supervising the first runs.
• Frequent pet hair: examine the bin inlet and brush ends after several sessions. Schedule cleaning often enough that the small onboard bin is not overwhelmed.
• Compact rooms: include the dock and open-tank access in your floor plan. A low robot body does not mean the whole system has a small footprint.

The global specification table and US listing describe the named X60 Ultra, but bundles, finish options and water-hookup availability can differ. A “Complete” suffix can indicate a different package, and another X60-family product may have different hardware. Check the product code and included accessories against the model-specific manual.

The global page lists a separately purchased water-hookup kit. Do not assume it comes with a US order or can be installed in any cabinet. Ask the seller for both the accessory compatibility list and the local installation requirements.

The robot’s small onboard dust container is a staging point before dock emptying. If hair compacts at its entrance, a larger dock bag cannot solve that blockage. Inspect the dust path, clean sensors and contacts, and look for residue in the washboard and drainage area. Let washed parts dry according to the manual before refitting them.

A useful operating budget includes filters, thermal pads, bags and compatible cleaning solution. The US listing shows separate accessory offers; those are pack prices, not an established annual ownership figure. Record the quantity in each pack and how often your home actually consumes it. Add possible water-hookup costs and ask who handles warranty service for the exact regional unit.

X60 Ultra makes the most sense when you can connect its lower profile and cleaning setup to a specific obstacle in your home. Compare it with Saros 20 for route access and with X12 for a different mopping mechanism. Prefer a reliable complete-room demonstration over an isolated peak-power claim.
