MOVA Z70 Ultra Roller Complete

The Z70 Ultra Roller Complete combines a roller-based cleaning head with features usually associated with high-end access: a retractable navigation sensor and mechanical legs. Its value depends on whether both are useful in the same home. For a largely level apartment, the roller may matter more than the climbing system; for split rooms, an inaccessible threshold can determine whether scheduled cleaning works at all.

MOVA's April 2026 announcement establishes the launch context, while the German store provides a separate, dated price for a specified finish. Manufacturer claims are distinguished from independently measured cleaning performance throughout the guide.

HydroForce 2.0 supplies fresh water through twelve nozzles to a 270 mm roller during cleaning. This changes how the contact surface is refreshed compared with rotary pads that return to the dock to be washed. It also creates a roller, scraper and water path that need to remain clear for the intended cleaning process to work.

The page lists 5,000 Pa contact pressure and 18 N force. These describe the mopping mechanism and cannot be compared with the 36,000 Pa suction claim as if they measure the same thing. Similarly, the 800 RPM figure belongs to fibre fluffing, not the floor roller's rotation speed. These distinctions matter when comparing product specification tables.

A 9 cm combined climb uses two separate rises, 4.8 cm and 4.2 cm, with 24 cm spacing. The single-rise limit is 4.8 cm. Photograph and measure the actual transition before ordering, including the landing surface and the space available for approach and departure.

The body is 96 mm tall with its navigation sensor retracted, increasing to 119.6 mm when raised. Roller lift of 13 mm and AutoShield help manage carpet transitions, but deep pile, fringes and loose mats still require appropriate mapping or exclusion. An advertised obstacle library also does not establish perfect recognition of small cables or every object left on the floor.

Stone-panel and brushed-metal listings should be matched to the intended finish and bundle. The product image on this guide uses the official stone-panel rendering; the dated €949 price belongs to the German brushed-metal listing. A difference between those listings should not be mistaken for a universal global price change.

MOVA also attaches software conditions to some advanced recognition and customisation features. If a specific function matters, ask the seller to demonstrate it in the regional app on current firmware. Check the included solution modules, consumables and warranty territory rather than relying on international promotional imagery.

The station uses a 4 L dust bag, a 5.5 L clean-water tank and a 4.5 L used-water tank. Its 420 × 432 × 500 mm enclosure needs additional space for lifting the tanks. A larger tank can reduce refilling frequency, but keeping dirty water in the station for long periods is not the same as reducing maintenance.

The advertised 100°C wash-water and 70°C drying figures are measured at station outlets. They do not establish floor-contact temperature or universal hygiene results in a home. Follow the manual for washing the roller assembly, cleaning the scraper and replacing bags and filters; inspect these parts when drying, odour or pickup behaviour changes.

The Z70 makes the clearest case when the user wants both a continuously refreshed roller and access over substantial room transitions. The S70 Ultra Roller keeps a similar broad cleaning format with a lower body and lower crossing limit. The V70 instead uses extending rotary pads and reusable bagless collection.

Choose between them using the actual floor plan, carpet boundaries and willingness to service the station. Maximum suction, contact force and mop speed are useful descriptions of different mechanisms, but they do not provide a common score for selecting a winner.
