MOVA S70 Ultra Roller

S70 Ultra Roller combines a 27 cm rinsed roller with hidden DToF navigation and a relatively narrow station. That combination is relevant when cabinets or sofas restrict access but the home does not need the mechanical climbing hardware of MOVA's larger flagships. The main selection question is whether its body and transition limits fit the rooms that need regular cleaning.

This guide covers the Ultra model. The S70 family contains similarly named products, and neither an abbreviated retailer title nor a shared promotional photograph is enough to establish identical hardware. MOVA uses a 90 mm headline but lists 350 × 350 × 91.5 mm in the detailed dimensions. For planning, use the more specific 91.5 mm figure and leave some practical clearance. Furniture can sag, floor surfaces can vary and hidden supporting rails can obstruct a robot even when the front opening looks adequate.

The same care applies to the advertised 4 cm crossing capability. The official footnote defines a 3 cm rise followed by a 1 cm rise with a 3 cm gap. A single vertical step is rated at 3 cm. These conditions should be compared with the actual sill rather than reduced to one headline number.

Twelve nozzles refresh the HydroForce roller during mopping. MOVA advertises 4,700 Pa contact pressure and 17 N force, which describe the roller-floor interaction rather than vacuum suction. Its 4.4 cm extension is intended to reach edges; cabinet recesses and obstructing furniture legs can still determine how much of an edge is accessible.

For carpets, the roller lifts by 12 mm and uses AutoShield. Configure room and carpet settings around actual pile height, fringes and loose rugs. The included CleanChop 3.0 design also needs to be distinguished from the rubber brush mentioned in a pet-friendly certification footnote: that footnote explicitly excludes CleanChop 3.0.

S70 Ultra Roller, S70 Roller and S70 Roller Pro should not be treated as interchangeable titles. Confirm navigation design, brush, roller assembly, station and complete model code. Check compatible solution, supplied spare parts and local repair arrangements before ordering internationally. App settings and promoted recognition features should be demonstrated on the actual regional product when they are important to the purchase. Do not transfer runtime or accessory claims from a neighbouring S70 listing without confirming the exact version.

The station contains a 3.2 L dust bag, 5 L clean-water tank and 4.5 L used-water tank. Its 340 mm width can help with placement, but the 496 mm height still needs clearance above for tank removal. Keep the station accessible enough that emptying dirty water does not become an awkward chore.

The 100°C wash claim refers to the station water outlet under laboratory conditions. Long dust-bag and water-coverage claims use separate test assumptions and do not describe a single maintenance-free period. Inspect the roller, scraper, brush ends and water path, and follow the manual for cleaning and drying components before reinstalling them.

Choose S70 for a roller-focused shortlist when its furniture access and station width solve a real constraint. Z70 retains the roller format but adds much higher documented two-step crossing and a larger station. P70 uses rotary pads, a taller body and a lower threshold rating, with different regional pricing.

A useful demonstration would cover the home's most difficult cabinet opening, one rug transition and a representative hard-floor mess. That reveals more about suitability than assuming the highest suction figure, contact pressure or promotional maintenance interval determines the best model.
