MOVA V70 Ultra Complete

The V70 Ultra Complete brings together three features that matter in different parts of a home: reusable dust collection, unusually long mop extension and mechanical threshold crossing. Start with those problems before treating 40,000 Pa as a reason to upgrade. A robot that can reach a recessed cabinet edge or enter an isolated room can be more useful than one with a higher laboratory suction number but unsuitable geometry.

This guide uses the current global specification for the base V70. The January CES preview and April European launch provide the release history; early announcement details should not override the current production-page limits. The assessment is based on manufacturer documentation, with no independent pickup, noise or stain-removal result implied.

MOVA distinguishes a single 4.5 cm rise from a combined 9 cm two-step crossing. Its two-step test also specifies 18 cm spacing. Measure the landing as well as both vertical rises, and consider slippery surfaces, bevelled edges and objects on the far side. The larger number does not establish that the robot can climb a 9 cm vertical wall.

The 88 mm body dimension is also separate from the 3.8 cm clearance promoted for the extended side brush. Only that brush can enter such a shallow recess. Furniture with crossbars, cables or a sloping underside may still prevent the body from passing beneath it even when the opening appears tall enough.

The V70 uses two rotating pads rather than a continuously rinsed floor roller. Its advertised 16 cm extension describes displacement between the mop centres; it is not an additional cleaning strip that can simply be added to the body width. The 12 cm side-brush reach uses a different measurement, from the body to the outer brush edge.

Pad lift is 10.5 mm, with automatic removal available for carpet-focused tasks. Check rug thickness and fringes instead of assuming lift alone keeps every carpet dry. The 100°C PTC washboard and hot-air drying belong to station maintenance; neither establishes the temperature applied to the floor during a cleaning pass.

V70 Ultra Complete and V70 Ultra Complete X should be checked as distinct purchase listings. Accessories, finish, promotional packs and service coverage can differ. This page's German price refers to the base model, while its technical table follows the global V70 page. A retailer offering an X pack for less is not necessarily offering an identical package.

Before ordering, confirm the regional model code, included brushes, cleaning-solution arrangement and any plumbing requirements. App features can also depend on market and software version. The presence of an advertised function in international marketing does not settle whether it is enabled on the unit being sold locally.

Bagless collection removes disposable dust bags from this part of the ownership routine, but it leaves a container and filters to service. MOVA's own footnote says EcoCyclone is a name and does not indicate cyclone separation. A claimed long emptying interval also does not cover dirty-water handling, pad cleaning or hair removal.

Choose a station position with space above the 470 mm body to remove tanks. Empty used water regularly, inspect pad mounts and brush ends, and allow cleaned components to dry as instructed before refitting. Budget for filters, pads, brushes and compatible solution even though the station does not consume dust bags.

Choose the V70 shortlist when difficult transitions and bagless collection are meaningful requirements. The Z70 offers a roller that is rinsed during mopping, which changes dirty-water handling at the cleaning head. The P70 keeps rotary pads and a full station but has a much lower threshold rating.

These are different ownership and access choices, not a performance ranking established by suction figures. For a final comparison, use the same rooms, rug configuration and cleaning schedule, and request a local demonstration when an unusual threshold is the main reason for buying.
