What Qrevo Edge 3 Pro changes
Qrevo Edge 3 Pro combines a low body with rotating mops and an adaptive chassis. The official product page makes furniture access and carpet handling central to the design. Those features address a familiar problem: a robot may clean well in open space while leaving the floor beneath a sofa or beyond a raised doorway untouched.
This is a source-based product guide, not a WCB hands-on review. Its place in the IFA 2026 lineup establishes the launch context. A regional selling price and delivery commitment remain unverified here. If you need a cleaner immediately, a subscription form or announcement page should not be treated as confirmed stock.
Low furniture and difficult thresholds
Measure the lowest point beneath furniture along the entire intended route. The 79.8 mm body height is useful, but an 80 mm opening offers virtually no margin for floor unevenness or sagging upholstery. Roborock’s slightly lower compressed-clearance claim also allows possible contact. Protecting furniture matters more than squeezing the robot through a nominally sufficient gap.
The threshold headline needs a similar reading. The combined 8.8 cm figure involves two separate rises and a specific gap depth. It does not describe a single wall of that height. Photograph troublesome doorways from the side and measure the intermediate landing. Ask a seller to confirm that geometry before assuming the chassis solves an existing access problem.
Rotating mops and carpet decisions
Automatic detachment can be valuable when you want the robot to vacuum carpets before wet cleaning hard floors. Check the supported mode and observe the first complete run. A rug with tassels, a curled edge or deep pile can challenge movement even after the mops are removed. The appropriate app setting and a clear approach still matter.
Compare the format with Qrevo Curv 2 Flow and Saros 20 Flow. Their rollers rinse during travel, while Edge 3 Pro uses rotating pads serviced by its dock. Evaluate dried residue, edge coverage and the time spent returning to wash. No single mechanism guarantees the best finish on every household floor.
Versions and market differences
Use the complete Edge 3 Pro name when checking a quotation. Qrevo is a broad family, and similar-looking docks do not establish identical navigation, mop handling or consumables. This guide uses the global specification and keeps the absence of a confirmed regional price visible. Confirm the local model code, warranty provider and included accessories together.
The temperature claims also need their measurement points. A 100°C dock heating module does not mean boiling water reaches your floor, and the drying figure refers to an outlet. Do not choose a floor-care appliance on an assumed sterilization result. Check the floor manufacturer’s approved cleaning method and the cleaner’s own solution instructions.
Maintenance and ownership
Plan the dock position before purchase. Its footprint is only part of the space requirement: tanks need lifting room, the robot needs a clear approach and the owner needs access for inspection. A cabinet that neatly fits the closed station can still make regular water changes frustrating. Confirm the manual’s placement clearances for the regional version.
Detachable pads, anti-tangle brushes and automatic dosing reduce particular chores; they do not remove all care. Inspect brushes, pad attachments and the dock’s wash area according to the instructions. Price replacement pads, bags, filters and approved solution locally. A good purchase keeps these routine items easy to obtain after a launch bundle has disappeared.
WCB buying view
Edge 3 Pro is most relevant when low furniture and mixed-floor transitions are the obstacles to useful automation. It deserves a closer look if rotating pads and detachment match your routine. If continuous roller washing is the main requirement, compare a Flow model instead. Make the final decision using a local price, verified doorway fit and a trial that includes your most difficult rug and under-sofa route.

Is Qrevo Edge 3 Pro a roller-mop robot?
No. It uses two rotating mops. Qrevo Curv 2 Flow and Saros 20 Flow use roller systems; a shared Roborock name does not make their mop hardware interchangeable.
Can it climb an 8.8 cm door sill?
Not as a general single-step guarantee. The claim combines 4.5 cm and 4.3 cm layers under specified spacing conditions. Measure each rise and the depth between them, then check the regional manual.
Will it fit below an 8 cm sofa?
The nominal height is 79.8 mm and the compressed-clearance claim is 79.5 mm. That leaves almost no margin under an 80 mm gap. Uneven floors, fabric sag and contact with furniture can prevent reliable access.
Does it leave the mops at the dock for carpet?
Automatic mop detachment is listed for supported modes. Configure the cleaning order in the app and confirm the robot actually drops the pads before relying on it for moisture-sensitive rugs.
Does the 100°C claim mean boiling water on the floor?
No. Roborock identifies the wash temperature at the dock heating module. Heat at a component is not the same as water temperature on the mop or floor.
What is the price?
A verified local selling price was not established from the global announcement page on September 10, 2026. This guide leaves price open instead of importing a quote for another Qrevo model.
Should I choose this or Saros 20 Flow?
Start with the cleaning system and physical fit: Edge 3 Pro offers rotating pads and detachment in a lower body; Saros 20 Flow offers continuous roller rinsing. A final value judgment also needs local prices and a practical floor test.
