Kärcher 2025 Sales Reach EUR 3.483 Billion
The company reported faster growth after currency adjustments.
News date:

Kärcher reported record annual sales of EUR 3.483 billion on January 29, 2026, achieving modest growth in a difficult cleaning-equipment market. The company release put the 2025 increase at 1.1% in reported currency and 3.2% after adjusting for exchange-rate movements.
International business accounted for 86% of revenue. Kärcher continued investing in its own sales network, including new companies in Portugal and Côte d'Ivoire. By year-end, the group said it comprised 170 companies in 87 countries and employed approximately 17,000 people worldwide.
Management described several constraints on growth: trade barriers, tariffs, local subsidies and pricing pressure, particularly from Chinese manufacturers. Commercial customers were cautious about purchases, while parts of the consumer business performed better. These conditions affected a portfolio spanning professional and household cleaning rather than a single product category.
Chief executive Hartmut Jenner characterized 2025 as an unusually demanding year. The result nevertheless showed a small increase in revenue during Kärcher's anniversary year, supported by its broad geographic presence. For distributors and professional-equipment buyers, the continuing investment in local sales operations is a relevant part of the update, alongside the headline sales total and the uneven demand environment.
