iRobot Announces Electro Plus Floor Cleaner and Expanded Roomba Lineup
The July North American presale introduces a manual floor-care product alongside five robot models.
News date:

iRobot expanded beyond autonomous floorcare on July 7, 2026 with Roomba Electro Plus, a cordless cleaner operated by the user. The portfolio announcement also introduced five Roomba robot models to North America, following Picea's completed acquisition in January.
Electro Plus combines vacuuming and mopping with an electrolyzed-water system. iRobot listed a U.S. suggested price of USD 399.99 and described a self-propelled design, a continuously cleaned roller and a dock that washes and dries the cleaning system. The company markets the water treatment for disinfection; its stated performance depends on the manufacturer's testing conditions.
The robot additions were Max 775 Combo, Max 715 Vacuum, Plus 575 Combo, Plus 515 Combo and Plus 415 Combo. The 715 is a vacuum-only model, while the other four combine vacuuming and mopping. Dock functions and cleaning equipment differ across the range.
The company opened website presales and expected selected retailers to follow later in July. By putting a manually guided hard-floor cleaner alongside robots, iRobot offered two different ways to use the Roomba brand: scheduled autonomous cleaning and direct cleaning of messes that a household wants to address immediately.
