IDC Data Put 2025 Commercial Cleaning Robot Shipments at 58,000
The reported shipment increase was 83.8% year on year.
News date:

Worldwide commercial cleaning robot shipments reached approximately 58,000 units in 2025, according to IDC figures reported by Zhitong Finance on July 7, 2026. The reported increase of 83.8% made cleaning the fastest-growing segment within the commercial service-robot market covered by the research.
The cleaning segment generated more than USD 760 million in revenue, up 48.5% from 2024. Its unit growth was therefore substantially faster than its revenue growth. Those two measures describe different aspects of expansion and do not, by themselves, establish how prices changed for any individual model.
The wider commercial service-robot market shipped about 155,000 units and generated USD 1.37 billion. Delivery robots retained the largest shipment volume among the named segments, at around 84,000 units. Cleaning robots should consequently be assessed within their own category rather than against the broader total as if all machines performed the same tasks.
The report associated cleaning growth with larger deployments in China, rising penetration in Europe and the United States, and replacement demand in Japan and other Asia-Pacific markets. It also described increasingly international operations among leading Chinese suppliers. The data concern equipment shipped during 2025; July 2026 is the publication date of the market update.
