IDC Data Show 7.89 Million Robot Vacuum Shipments in Q2 2026
Roborock reported a 23.7% shipment share in the quarterly figures.
News date:

Global robot vacuum shipments reached 7.885 million units in the second quarter of 2026, generating USD 3.89 billion in sales revenue, according to IDC figures reported by Seoul Economic Daily on September 29. The newspaper cited market data shared by Roborock.
Roborock's shipment share was 23.7%, up from 20.8% in the same quarter a year earlier. Together, Roborock, Dreame, ECOVACS, Xiaomi and MOVA accounted for 75% of robot vacuum shipments and 82% of revenue. The higher revenue share indicates that the leading group's position was stronger by sales value than by units.
The report also cited 11.205 million shipments for the broader household cleaning robot market, up 21.5%. That total includes categories beyond robot vacuums, so it is a different measure from the 7.885 million vacuum units.
Alongside the figures, the report highlighted the growing importance of local operations. In South Korea, Roborock was expanding opportunities for product trials through physical retail and strengthening after-sales coverage. The market update thus places service access and retail presence alongside product competition, while the shipment rankings themselves remain specific to the categories and reporting period measured by IDC.
