- Both are hand-guided wet-dry floor washers announced around CES 2026; neither is a robot.
- Choose the S9 Master for continuous hot-water cleaning (about 52°C) and ThermoBlast spot treatment; choose the F25 ACE Pro for JetFoaming, powered steering, 30 N downward pressure and a larger 1 L clean tank.
- Read the temperatures carefully: Tineco's 85°C and Roborock's 95°C figures describe drying or dock air, not water on the floor.

Choose the Tineco FLOOR ONE S9 Master when you want hot water on the floor for greasy or sticky marks and a lower, clearly documented runtime per mode. Choose the Roborock F25 ACE Pro when you want foam pre-treatment, powered steering that helps push the machine, stronger downward pressure and a larger clean-water tank.
Both are manually guided wet-dry floor washers introduced around CES 2026. Neither cleans on its own: you push them. The decision comes down to how each loosens dirt, how each handles, and how you read their temperature claims.

How They Loosen Dirt
S9 Master mops with continuous hot water. Tineco's US store states 126°F, about 52°C, based on its own testing, and adds ThermoBlast, a hot-water treatment for local marks. It is not steam cleaning, and Tineco does not present it as such.
F25 ACE Pro sprays foam before scrubbing, using Roborock's dedicated Foam Cleaning Solution, and presses its brush down with 30 N at 430 RPM. Ordinary household detergent is not a substitute for the foam reservoir.
Hot water suits greasy kitchen residue; foam plus pressure suits dried, sticky spots. Both still need a floor that tolerates wet cleaning.
Temperatures: Read the Footnotes
Both brands publish high temperatures that are easy to misread.
- Tineco's 85°C is the drying air in the self-care cycle. The floor water is about 52°C.
- Roborock's 95°C is, in its own footnote, the hot-air outlet blowing over the water in the dock. It is not the water temperature, and Roborock does not claim 95°C water on the floor.
If you are buying for hot-water cleaning on the floor, S9 Master is the only one of the two with a stated floor-water temperature.
Handling and Reach
F25 ACE Pro has SlideTech 2.0 powered wheels that help push and pull, and a 70° combined swivel at the brush head. It lies flat at 180° with 12.5 cm clearance, and Roborock allows remote control in the app only when it is laid flat. The powered wheels help on the floor; they do not reduce the weight you carry upstairs.
S9 Master lies flat to 3.9 in (9.9 cm), lower than F25 ACE Pro's 12.5 cm clearance, which matters under low beds and cabinets. Tineco does not list powered steering for it.
Tanks and Runtime
F25 ACE Pro carries 1,000 ml of clean water and runs up to 60 minutes in Eco mode. S9 Master carries 0.85 L clean and 0.7 L dirty water, and Tineco states 65 minutes in Quiet mode and 50 minutes in Auto mode. Heated or intensive settings shorten runtime on both. S9 Master charges in five hours or less.
Self-Cleaning and Upkeep
Both docks wash and dry the roller. Tineco offers a 5-minute FlashDry or 40-minute SilentDry cycle; Roborock offers 5-minute fast or 30-minute quiet drying. Neither removes the owner's routine: fill clean water, empty dirty water, and check the roller, filter and recovery path. Roborock's JawScrapers roller system is designed to manage hair, but the scraper and roller ends still need inspection.
Price
Tineco's US store displayed USD 699 for S9 Master on 12 September 2026; a separate USD 599 checkout message was conditional and not verified. We could not verify a current selling price for F25 ACE Pro; its Australian launch is documented, so ask for a dated local offer that includes the foam solution and warranty terms.

FAQ
Is either of these a robot vacuum?
No. Both are floor washers you guide by hand. F25 ACE Pro's app and remote control work only when the machine is laid flat.
Does S9 Master clean with 85°C water?
No. The 85°C figure is drying air in the self-care cycle. Tineco states about 52°C (126°F) for the mopping water.
Does F25 ACE Pro clean with 95°C water?
No. Roborock's footnote says 95°C is the hot-air outlet over the water in the dock, not the water itself.
Can I use any detergent in F25 ACE Pro's foam system?
No. Roborock specifies its dedicated Foam Cleaning Solution. Follow the instructions for each reservoir.
Which is better under low furniture?
S9 Master lies flat to 9.9 cm, against 12.5 cm clearance for F25 ACE Pro.
