Husqvarna highlighted its expansion in boundary-wire-free robotic mowing when it published its 2025 annual results on February 4, 2026. The group introduced 13 such mower models during the year, even as cautious consumer spending and currency movements affected the wider business.

Full-year net sales reached SEK 46.613 billion, down 4% in reported terms but up 1% organically. Operating income excluding items affecting comparability was SEK 2.901 billion, corresponding to a 6.2% margin, compared with 6.6% a year earlier. Net debt declined to SEK 11.8 billion.

The final quarter was more difficult. Organic sales fell 3%, and the group recorded an adjusted operating loss of SEK 841 million. Management cited weak North American demand for residential handheld and wheeled products, alongside tariff and currency pressure. Professional robotic mowers and power cutters showed better momentum.

Husqvarna entered 2026 with plans for further robotics launches incorporating AI vision and a broader professional offering. After the reporting period, it announced a European distribution partnership for an autonomous golf-range ball picker. That extends its golf-course proposition beyond grass cutting, while the annual figures show that robotics growth sits within a much larger, unevenly performing equipment portfolio.
