Four Husqvarna robotic mower platforms received conditional approval from the U.S. Federal Communications Commission on September 9, 2026. The decision covered Automower 305V iQ, 310V iQ, 420V iQ and 440V iQ, the group confirmed in a September 11 announcement.

Husqvarna said the approval exempts the specified platforms from the FCC Covered List restrictions affecting foreign-produced advanced robotic devices. The company expected these new mower platforms to reach the U.S. market in 2027. The regulatory decision therefore precedes the planned commercial introduction.

The United States is an important market for the group: it represented 24% of Husqvarna's total 2025 net sales. Management also said its professional robotic mowing systems were serving more than 500 U.S. golf courses. It sees room to expand in both professional and residential applications, with residential adoption still relatively limited.

The approval gives dealers a clearer regulatory basis for planning around the four named platforms. Its scope remains tied to those products; it should not be read as a blanket exemption for every future Husqvarna device. Product specifications, dealer supply and launch timing remain separate parts of the planned 2027 introduction.
