Husqvarna said on October 21 that it had received the European Commission's disclosure of essential facts and considerations in the anti-dumping investigation into robotic lawnmowers originating in China. The announcement marks a procedural development in a case followed by mower manufacturers and European importers.

In its public statement, the group said the disclosure was confidential and declined to discuss its contents. Interested parties can submit comments within the Commission's specified deadline, after which the Commission will consider those responses before reaching its conclusions.

Husqvarna identified January 19, 2027 as the statutory deadline for a decision on definitive measures. That is a decision deadline, not an announced start date for a particular duty. The company's statement does not publish tariff rates, company-specific treatment or the Commission's final determination.

The development follows the opening of the investigation. It gives the industry a confirmed process update while leaving the substantive outcome unresolved. Importers assessing commercial exposure still need the eventual public decision and its precise product and origin scope; this disclosure announcement alone does not establish a final customs charge.
