Start with the jobs left after a normal kitchen or bathroom clean. If those jobs repeatedly require a cloth, narrow tool and liquid recovery, the wand may be useful. If the home mainly has unobstructed flooring, a simpler washer may meet the need with fewer accessories to handle. This is an assessment of the design, not a hands-on performance rating.

A targeted tool changes access, but it does not make every surface washable. Look at the finish, joints and the route liquid could take before using it around cabinets or fixtures.
