i7 Fold places access and storage at the centre of the design. For someone whose floor washer is difficult to retrieve, move around a sofa or put away afterwards, those details can determine whether it is used regularly. A more convenient daily machine can be a better fit than a feature-rich alternative that remains stored between occasional deep cleans.

The relevant test is specific to the home. Measure the opening beneath the furniture, including crossbars and fabric, and consider where the cleaner will stand while charging. Folding can reduce one dimension without reducing the space needed around the dock. This guide interprets the published design; it does not claim independent handling or cleaning measurements.

A reclining body can enter an opening only when the complete path is clear. Sofa supports, uneven boards and objects hidden underneath may stop a pass even if the visible front gap looks sufficient. Check whether the cleaner can also turn and return without forcing the handle or contact head into the furniture.

Likewise, a folding tube should be assessed through the whole motion rather than a single demonstration position. Reach, grip and visibility affect comfort. If lifting and carrying are important, try that separately with the intended route to storage in mind; on-floor steering does not reveal the effort required to move a machine between levels.

The EU manual describes two separate actions: lay the appliance flat for cleaning beneath furniture, and use the folding switch to bend the handle. After cleaning, stand it vertically on the dock for charging and storage; the handle can then be folded. This distinction is useful when evaluating a display model, since a folded handle alone does not demonstrate the whole under-furniture cleaning path.

The small dirty-water reservoir is a meaningful tradeoff. Battery endurance describes how long a motor may operate under defined conditions, while tank capacity determines another kind of stopping point. A spill-heavy kitchen can create a different refill-and-emptying rhythm from a light maintenance pass across dusty flooring.

For a large home, estimate the work in separate zones and identify a convenient place to handle water. That planning is more useful than treating the maximum runtime as a promise of uninterrupted cleaning. If tank handling is the part of the task the buyer most wants to reduce, a model with a larger reservoir or refill station belongs in the comparison.

Choose the mode for the mess

The EU manual lists ECO for routine dirt and light stains, QUIET for reduced operating noise, SUCTION for collecting water on wet surfaces, and MAX for stronger suction with water or solution on embedded stains. SUCTION is a water-recovery setting; it does not establish a dry handheld or upholstery-cleaning function. The store’s 50-minute headline is still not a verified duration for every mode.

Allow approximately 3–4 hours for a full charge, according to the EU manual’s laboratory estimate. The dirty-tank MAX indicator can stop operation independently of remaining battery charge. An empty clean tank and a blocked roller have separate alerts, so identify the displayed prompt before assuming the battery is exhausted.

S9 Master emphasises heated cleaning and larger onboard tanks, while the Station S9 Scientist Pro adds a different replenishment routine. Those designs address different sources of effort. A station may reduce some refill work but require a suitable permanent space; a compact washer may fit more easily but need more frequent water handling.

Choose the machine around the part of cleaning that currently causes the most friction. For an apartment with low furniture, that may be reach and storage. For repeated sticky messes, it may be treatment and recovery. For a larger hard-floor area, it may be the number of stops. A single suction figure does not resolve those differences.

Tineco announced an i7 Fold debut for CES 2026. The detailed specifications used here come from its Spain-localised EU store; the checked offer was €499 on 12 September. This does not establish a US price, a worldwide delivery date or identical accessories in every package using a similar name.

When buying across borders, verify the exact product identity, charging equipment, supplied consumables and local service route. A suffix such as Premium may refer to a different retail configuration. Keep the invoice and support record tied to the actual delivered model rather than relying on a family photograph or a translated listing title.
