Sora 10 targets the core work of a cordless pool cleaner: collecting debris from the floor and scrubbing walls and the waterline. It provides a 5 L basket and planned floor paths at a lower US purchase price than the higher Sora models checked for this guide. The useful question is whether those tasks match the pool's main cleaning problem.

Beatbot identifies the Sora collection as a 2026 release range. This guide follows the current US Sora 10 specification and FAQ, with no independent cleaning, coverage or durability test implied. It keeps waterline cleaning separate from collecting leaves floating on the water surface, because those require different functions.

The manufacturer lists above-ground and in-ground compatibility across common pool materials, but broad compatibility does not settle every step, bench or drain arrangement. Check the size and shape of the pool, fixed obstacles and a practical retrieval position. The 300 m² rating is a coverage reference, not proof of completing every similarly sized pool in one cycle.

Shallow-water information needs a specific confirmation. The page headline says 12 inches, the platform specification says 13.8 inches, and the general depth FAQ starts at 0.5 m. Those figures should not be silently treated as interchangeable. If a tanning ledge is the reason for choosing the model, obtain the regional manual and confirmation for its depth and dimensions before ordering.

Beatbot separates up to five hours of floor-only cleaning from up to four hours of combined floor, wall and waterline work. Climbing, route changes and debris loading affect actual duration. The 6,800 US gallons-per-hour figure describes advertised water flow; it does not measure suction pressure or establish a direct cleaning ranking against another manufacturer's laboratory result.

Sora 10 parks at the waterline. It does not provide the same floating retrieval arrangement as Sora 30 or Sora 70. Consider where the operator will stand, how the robot will be lifted and whether the listed 8.5 kg machine can be handled comfortably after draining. Retrieval convenience can be more meaningful than a modest difference in headline power.

The Sora 10, 30 and 70 names identify different hardware and capabilities. Sora 10 has a smaller battery than the other two and does not skim the water surface. A colour choice or accessory bundle should also be distinguished from a change in the underlying robot.

The dated $449 price is for the US Sora 10 listing. Standard filtration is 150 µm, while the store offers an ultra-fine basket separately. Confirm compatibility and stock before including that accessory in a buying comparison. Regional warranty and service terms should be checked where the product will actually be used.

A 5 L basket can hold substantial debris, but leaves, hair and fine sediment load a filter differently. Inspect and rinse the basket after use as instructed; a partly blocked filter can affect flow before it appears full. Check the roller brushes, tracks and inlet for trapped material, and use the prescribed charging and storage routine.

The official saltwater FAQ sets a concentration below 5,000 ppm. That limit does not replace the full water-condition instructions or normal pool treatment. A cleaning robot collects debris and scrubs surfaces; it does not establish that the pool's filtration, circulation or water chemistry can be neglected.

Choose Sora 10 when the main requirement is submerged-surface cleaning and the waterline retrieval method is workable. Sora 30 offers a larger battery, additional cleaning hardware and floating parking. Sora 70 also collects floating debris, addressing a different task from merely scrubbing the waterline.
