TTI Floor Care Plans Move from Charlotte to Anderson
The regional announcement set a 2026 timetable for the relocation.
News date:

TTI Floor Care announced plans to relocate its business from Charlotte, North Carolina, to Anderson, South Carolina, in an October 8, 2025 statement published by Anderson County Economic Development. The planned move was to take place before June 1, 2026.
The business includes Hoover, Oreck and Dirt Devil. Bringing these operations into Anderson was intended to connect the floorcare teams with TTI's existing innovation facilities and wider consumer business. The company described improved collaboration and profitability as aims of the relocation.
The regional announcement said TTI had invested more than $500 million in South Carolina since 2019 and that its subsidiaries employed more than 1,500 people there. The existing facilities included approximately 500,000 square feet devoted to offices, engineering and testing, together with three million square feet of warehouse space. That established footprint provided the physical context for the decision.
The announcement described an organizational and office move within a company already operating at scale in the state. It did not announce a sale of the three floorcare brands. TTI said it intended the transition to avoid customer disruption; that was part of the relocation plan, while the October statement itself preceded the scheduled transfer date.
