Narwal announced retail availability of the original Flow robot vacuum and mop on August 7, 2025, following its CES presentation earlier that year. The launch release said feedback from beta users and industry participants had informed refinements before the consumer introduction.

Flow's defining feature was its moving-track FlowWash mop, refreshed with clean water while dirty water was collected separately. Narwal listed water at 45°C during mopping and 12 N of downward pressure. EdgeReach extended the cleaning surface toward walls, while a separate carpet-cleaning arrangement adjusted airflow around the vacuum brush.

The robot combined maximum suction of 22,000 Pa with dual-camera obstacle recognition. Its multifunction dock handled dust collection, hot-water mop washing and drying. Narwal also described a separate dock option connected to household water and drainage, with a more compact station form.

These arrangements gave the Flow series different installation choices as well as a new mopping mechanism. The August date identifies the original product's consumer release, rather than its earlier exhibition preview. It is also separate from the subsequent Flow 2 launch in April 2026, which introduced a later generation with its own specifications and regional pricing.
