Narwal announced Freo Z10 Turbo on May 12, 2026, with U.S. availability scheduled for May 18. The company release positioned the vacuum-and-mop robot below its flagship price tier while extending selected cleaning features to the Freo family.

The most notable addition was CarpetFocus, previously reserved for Narwal's flagship products. When carpet is detected, the system lowers a brush cover to concentrate airflow and raises the mop. A dedicated carpet mode uses passes in two directions, while Narwal lists maximum suction of 25,000 Pa for the robot.

For hard floors, the EdgeReach arrangement extends the mop toward baseboards and corners. The robot also uses Narwal's DualFlow brush system to address hair tangling. Navigation combines tri-laser structured light with LDS mapping, giving this model a camera-free configuration rather than the camera-based recognition fitted to some other Narwal products.

The maintenance dock automates tasks after cleaning, but its quoted capacity depends on the manufacturer's usage assumptions. The launch's practical significance is the combination of carpet-focused airflow, edge mopping and camera-free navigation at a different portfolio level. It should be compared on that complete configuration, with any launch promotion kept separate from later selling prices.
