Fluidra announced an agreement on April 1, 2025 to invest USD 100 million in newly issued Aiper shares for a 27% stake. The transaction announcement paired a minority investment with a strategic alliance in robotic pool cleaning.

The companies described complementary channel roles. Fluidra would continue concentrating on professional distribution, while Aiper would focus on consumer retail channels. The arrangement brought Fluidra's pool-equipment experience together with Aiper's cordless robot business, while retaining a distinction between the routes each company uses to reach customers.

A possible second phase envisaged Fluidra taking majority ownership if specified revenue and profitability milestones were achieved. That was a conditional future step, rather than the ownership position created by the announced initial investment. The 27% figure therefore should not be described as a completed takeover of Aiper.

At announcement, the first-stage investment remained subject to customary closing conditions and antitrust clearance. Completion was expected in the second half of 2025. The April release records the agreement and planned commercial relationship, with closing and any later change in control requiring separate confirmation. It also keeps the investment amount distinct from Aiper's sales, valuation or any subsequent transaction consideration.
