Navimow i215 LiDAR is the US retail model covered by this guide, following the CES 2026 i2 LiDAR introduction. The official listing emphasizes solid-state LiDAR, vision and a real-scene map. Those features are intended to make a lawn understandable to the mower and owner without installing an external RTK antenna.
WCB has not tested mapping accuracy or mowing performance on this model. The useful buying question is how reliably it handles your actual lawn layout. Trees, narrow connections, boundary changes and the station approach matter more than a sensor’s point-count headline. Include those areas in a demonstration and review the map before relying on a schedule.
Keep coverage and zone count separate
The recommended lawn size and the maximum mapping allowance are different figures. The latter is shared across the entire mapped property, including all zones. Creating more zones does not multiply capacity. Start with the total maintained grass area and then examine how much time is lost moving between sections, turning around obstacles and returning to charge.
A site near the upper limit deserves a practical schedule assessment. Leave room for growth conditions and periods when mowing is unsuitable or the garden is occupied. Isolated Zone Mapping helps describe disconnected areas, but it does not create a physical path between them.
