Mammotion YUKA mini 2 1000

A rear-wheel-drive mower for 1,000 m² lawns, using 360° LiDAR and dual cameras. The 1000 version differs in navigation from the triple-camera 800; it is not simply a larger area setting.

Worth considering for

Where it makes sense

A compact LiDAR candidate for an appropriately sized lawn without an AWD requirement. Compare real access, charging cycles and the UK cutting-height range before ordering.

Before you commit

When to look elsewhere

A buyer needing LUBA-style AWD, a guaranteed 1,000 m² single-charge cut or specifications copied from the 800 or 1000H.

The 1000 version has its own hardware

YUKA mini 2 1000 is the LiDAR-and-camera configuration in Mammotion’s compact 2026 range. The CES introduction described more than one navigation approach, and the UK product page identifies the exact 1000 setup used here. This matters when comparing an attractive offer for the 800: a different number can also mean different sensing hardware.

WCB has not conducted a mowing or navigation test on this model. The guide organizes official specifications and the practical questions that determine whether it fits a lawn. Start with the site’s shape, access and mowing schedule, then evaluate the sensor system. A compact mower is valuable when it reliably reaches the areas that need maintenance.

Lawn rating is different from one-charge output

The recommended lawn size describes the workload the system is intended to maintain through a mowing schedule. The published one-charge coverage is smaller. Plan for charging interruptions and consider when mowing is appropriate around household use, rain and local wildlife. A lawn near the rated limit may need more scheduling flexibility than the headline area suggests.

Grass growth, obstacles and narrow connecting routes affect productive cutting time. Ask for a site assessment if the lawn contains several disconnected sections or grows rapidly in season. The battery’s capacity is useful context, but it does not independently prove how often the mower will return to charge. Compare the complete routine rather than dividing area by a best-case speed.

Rear-wheel drive and narrow access

YUKA’s rear-wheel-drive layout should be evaluated separately from Mammotion’s AWD products. Inspect slope changes, ruts and the approach to boundaries. A working-slope maximum is not a guarantee for every damp incline or a steep edge beside a drop. If traction is the recurring problem, compare the LUBA mini 2 AWD on the same route.

The narrow-passage claim is relevant to side paths, but a measurement alone does not settle access. Check entry angles, low branches and surfaces where the mower must turn. Observe the first mapping and mowing run, then adjust exclusions and connections as the manual permits. Sensors and software reduce setup effort; they do not eliminate the need for an owner to validate the result.

Versions and market differences

This guide uses the UK 1000 and its 20–60 mm cutting-height range. A 1000H in another market can have different settings, while the 800 uses another navigation configuration. Keep the full model code on a quotation and verify the local manual. Do not combine the most favorable specifications from different variants into a fictional single machine.

The dated GBP 999 reference comes from the selected UK offer. Confirm the included station, spare blades, connectivity terms and warranty at purchase. Software feature names can also appear before every regional firmware release is available. If a specific mapping or app capability is essential, ask the seller to demonstrate it on the current regional version before treating it as a guaranteed purchase feature.

Maintenance and ownership

Plan for blade inspection, grass removal and sensor cleaning according to the instructions. A mower’s performance can change when material accumulates around moving parts or sensing surfaces. Obtain local replacement-blade prices and understand the seasonal battery-care procedure. Choose a station position that remains accessible for routine checks rather than hiding it in a location that is difficult to service.

Saved maps can help manage separate lawns, but they do not transport the machine. Consider the effort of moving it, the charging arrangement and the boundary checks required at each location. DropMow is useful for a temporary task only where the operating area is suitable. It should not be interpreted as permission to place the mower in an unchecked space and walk away.

WCB buying view

YUKA mini 2 1000 makes sense when its compact access, LiDAR navigation and rear-wheel-drive capability suit the actual garden. Compare it with an AWD LUBA for traction needs and the Navimow i215 LiDAR for another mapping approach. Base the decision on the whole mowing schedule, local height range and service support. Keep lawn capacity, single-charge coverage and saved-map count as separate facts.

Questions about Mammotion YUKA mini 2 1000

Is YUKA mini 2 1000 a 2026 model?

Yes. Mammotion introduced the YUKA mini 2 range at CES 2026. This guide uses the UK 1000 LiDAR listing and its current specification.

Is it the same navigation hardware as the 800?

No. The range announcement describes a LiDAR-plus-vision version and a triple-camera version. The UK 1000 covered here has LiDAR and dual cameras; do not assume every YUKA mini 2 uses that sensor set.

Does it mow 1,000 m² on one charge?

No. The UK page claims up to 250 m² per charge and rates the model for a 1,000 m² lawn. A full maintained-lawn cycle may require repeated mowing and charging.

Does it have all-wheel drive?

No. The cited 1000 is rear-wheel drive, with a 45% working-slope claim. LUBA mini 2 AWD has a different drive system and should be evaluated separately.

What is the UK price?

The selected official UK listing showed GBP 999 on September 10, 2026. Recheck the exact model, current stock, accessories and delivery terms at purchase.

Can I use the US 1000H height range for this model?

No. This guide uses the UK 1000 range of 20–60 mm. A higher-cut regional variant may have different settings; match the exact suffix and local manual.

Do ten maps mean it can autonomously move between ten properties?

No. Saved maps and zone management are software capacities. The robot still needs a valid route or manual transport between disconnected locations, plus suitable charging and operating conditions.
