Navimow i210 AWD targets a different problem from large premium lawn robots: maintaining a smaller property that still has uneven ground and difficult turns. The US model pairs a compact cutting deck with an AWD arrangement, while Network RTK and vision handle positioning. A lower purchase price is useful only after those requirements match the garden.

This guide follows the US i210 AWD offer, not the smaller i206 or the separate i2 LiDAR family. It uses manufacturer documentation and practical buying considerations; WCB has not conducted a hands-on mowing test. Read the area rating as the amount of grass the robot must maintain, excluding the house, driveway and planting beds.

What matters in daily use

Check positioning at the actual property

Before planning an antenna-free installation, use the official Network RTK coverage check. Then consider reception at the charger and through the entire route. A postcode result does not show whether a particular corner behind a building is troublesome. Ask support about an alternative positioning setup before purchase if the coverage result or local conditions are uncertain.

Traction is useful at the difficult turn

Evaluate the AWD system where the mower has to change direction, cross a worn patch or leave a sloping passage. A successful straight climb is only part of the job. Damp turf and repeated pivots near the station can matter more than the maximum slope figure. Keep the charger approach in good condition and examine the ground after the first scheduled runs.

A mowing session includes recharging

The i210 battery and the i206 battery are different. Use the i210’s own mowing and charging figures when estimating how much of the day remains for lawn use. Allow additional time for narrow routes, separated patches and weather pauses. The manufacturer’s maintained-lawn test does not predict a first pass through long, wet grass.

Where it fits — and where to look elsewhere

A small lawn with uneven access: the compact body and traction are reasons to investigate this model. Measure the narrowest route and check the height of hard transitions. The published crossing test uses a specified deck setting; a differently shaped stone edge needs its own assessment rather than a direct numerical comparison.

A garden with many trees and a larger total area: compare Navimow H220. Its added LiDAR and larger area allowance may address different constraints, but it also has a larger body and a lower permitted boundary slope than its working-area slope. Map the route before treating it as a straightforward upgrade.

An open quarter-acre lawn with less demanding terrain: compare MOVA LiDAX Ultra 1000. Examine the positioning approach, cutting-height range and routine maintenance alongside the price. Extra traction is valuable when it solves an observed problem; it need not dominate a decision for straightforward, level grass.

Versions and market differences

The US manual specifies a cutting range beginning at two inches. That is a meaningful constraint for anyone who maintains a close-cut lawn. Listings in other territories can use a lower range, so check the regional manual and exact order rather than assuming that the same series name guarantees the same cutting setup.

The current US store separates included Network RTK positioning from additional cellular functions. Its page states that the data required for Network RTK are included, while its FAQ refers to a one-year free 4G service term. Do not interpret the latter as the end of free positioning. Confirm the optional remote-service renewal in the app; this guide does not borrow an H2 or X4 renewal price for i210.

Maintenance and ownership

The US owner’s manual describes regular blade and screw replacement as well as cleaning and storage. Inspect the cutting disc, wheels and sensors, shut the machine down before handling blades, and use the specified parts. Keep a small supply of compatible blades so a damaged edge does not leave the mower working poorly while replacements arrive.

A mower can automate frequent cutting without collecting every garden object or finishing every raised border. Include time to clear toys and hoses, trim areas the deck cannot overlap, and keep the charging contacts and approach usable. During commissioning, check the first full return-to-charge cycle as carefully as the first outward mowing pass.

For separated lawns, consider whether the route is connected or whether carrying will remain part of the routine. Include winter storage space and the process for reopening the garden in spring. The observed US price applies to i210 AWD; the smaller i206 is the lower-priced default often visible at the top of the series page. Check the selected cart and local warranty rather than buying from the headline alone.

How is i210 AWD different from i206 AWD?

The US i210 is rated for 0.25 acre and has a 5.1 Ah battery, versus 0.15 acre and 2.55 Ah for i206. The US manual gives roughly 120-minute mowing and charging intervals for i210, compared with 60 minutes for i206.

Does it need an antenna or boundary wire?

Antenna-free setup uses supported Network RTK coverage and vision. Check the official coverage tool at the property. The manual also describes an RTK antenna installation; confirm the appropriate local accessory if coverage is unsuitable.

Is Network RTK a paid subscription?

The current US product page says Network RTK access and the cellular data required for positioning are included at no extra cost. Optional remote connectivity is separate; the FAQ lists one year of free 4G service. Check the app for applicable renewal terms.

Can the US i210 AWD cut down to 20 mm?

The US manual lists 2–3.6 inches, approximately 51–91 mm. Do not apply European low-cut specifications to a US order. Check local model documentation if you need a closely cut lawn.

Is i210 AWD the same as i2 LiDAR?

No. This i210 AWD uses Network RTK with vision. Navimow’s i2 LiDAR is a separate product family. An i2 label alone is not enough to identify the navigation system or terrain capabilities.
