V10 Konical is a dry cordless vacuum built around Dyson’s All Floor Cones head. The tapered brush-bar arrangement is intended to move collected hair toward the suction path. That makes hair handling a useful subject for a demonstration, particularly where long hair collects at brush ends. Inspect what remains after cleaning rather than treating an anti-tangle design as a guarantee of no manual care.

The base package also supports handheld cleaning with a crevice tool and mini motorized tool. This matters when the same appliance must cover stairs, upholstery and floor edges. It is a different role from a dedicated wet washer. WCB has not tested this model; the guide uses the US retail listing and Dyson’s dated launch information.

The selected US base offer includes Wall Dok. Auto-empty Dok is a separate proposition, and the US range page still describes it as coming soon. A launch announcement or a visible bundle link is not proof that a particular package can be delivered. Confirm the exact box contents and current station availability before including automatic emptying in the buying decision.

The base vacuum can be assessed independently: head handling, bin emptying, tool changes and battery charging are the routine to try today. If the optional station is essential, obtain its delivered price, bag supply and installation dimensions. A station adds another storage and consumables decision, even when it makes an individual emptying task more convenient.

The 60-minute maximum is qualified for Eco handheld operation. A powered floor head or a higher setting can change endurance substantially. Estimate the route with the tools and mode that will actually be used, and include stairs or upholstery if those are part of a normal session. A replaceable battery is useful only when a compatible local replacement is obtainable.

The current retail table gives 6.01 lb, while the March launch article gives 5.3 lb. This guide preserves that discrepancy rather than choosing the lighter headline. Ask which assembled configuration each figure describes and try the working machine above floor level. Whole-machine HEPA filtration is listed, but inconsistent capture percentages on the retail page are not reproduced as a precise promise.

The USD 399.99 figure is a September 12 retail snapshot for the selected US base vacuum. It is not the launch price, a worldwide price or an auto-empty bundle quotation. Recheck local stock, tools, battery warranty and return terms. Regional colors or product names can appear alongside different package contents.

Verify accessories by exact part and machine code. The V10 label should not be used to assume compatibility with every previous V10 tool. A buyer moving from another Dyson should list the attachments worth retaining and obtain an explicit compatibility answer. The same care applies to batteries, chargers and any future station purchase.

Dry cleaning still leaves a bin, brush bars, filters and airflow paths to inspect. Follow the supplied instructions for washing compatible parts and allow the stated drying time before reassembly. Hair that moves off the brush can collect elsewhere in the airflow route, so examine the complete path when pickup changes or the machine reports a blockage.

For a possible Auto-empty Dok purchase, budget for its own collection bags and care. Keep that cost separate from the base vacuum’s bagless bin. Evaluate where the station or wall dock will sit, how the machine is removed and whether tools remain accessible. A convenient storage arrangement can matter more in daily use than a small difference in maximum suction.

Choose V10 Konical primarily for dry floor and handheld cleaning. Compare Z30 Pro Aqua-A if interchangeable wet cleaning is relevant, and PencilWash for a dedicated washer. Decide on the actual tools, realistic runtime and verified local package. Keep an optional station out of the value calculation until its availability and total cost are confirmed.
