Where it makes sense
V50 Cube is worth the extra station space when automatic emptying and the second battery reduce recurring work. Compare the exact German package and ongoing supplies rather than the shared page’s starting price.

What the Cube configuration adds
V50 Cube packages Narwal’s cordless cleaner with an automatic-emptying station and two removable batteries in the checked German configuration. Its central proposition is less routine handling of collected dust, together with a second pack for longer cleaning sessions. The standard V50 shares the published maximum air-watt figure, so the price difference should not be explained as a simple suction upgrade.
Start with the current ownership routine. If emptying a small bin repeatedly or waiting for a battery to recharge creates friction, Cube addresses relevant tasks. The station also occupies permanent space and introduces bags and filters that need supplying. Both sides of that tradeoff belong in the buying decision.
Two batteries do not mean three hours on carpet
The combined runtime headline comes from adding the maximum duration of two batteries in Eco mode with the crevice tool. It requires changing packs and does not describe three hours of continuous powered-floor-head cleaning at maximum suction. Carpet load, attachments and selected power can change how quickly a battery is used.
The separate lightweight claim describes the handheld unit, not the complete stick vacuum with its tube and head. Assess reach, balance and the actual tools used for stairs, furniture and overhead cleaning. Comparing that handheld-only figure against another product’s assembled weight would give a misleading impression of the difference.
Automatic emptying and everyday pickup
The Cube station removes dust from the cleaner after docking and provides a charging and accessory-storage arrangement. Narwal also describes active brush detangling and automatic dust scraping as part of this configuration. These mechanisms target debris retained after cleaning; they do not turn the vacuum into a wet floor washer or remove every need to inspect moving parts.
The cleaner itself includes dirt-responsive power and the CarpetFocus head feature, alongside dust illumination. Those functions should be assessed on the household’s actual floors. The listed air-watt and pressure figures are different units, and neither establishes an independent ranking for embedded debris, larger particles or pet hair.
Versions and market differences
The V50 family was previewed at CES 2026, and V50 Cube appeared in Narwal’s September 2026 IFA announcement. This page uses the German Cube standard-package variant checked on 12 September, listed at €549 including VAT before conditional coupons. The same family page starts at €399 because it also sells the standard V50.
Do not copy that starting price into a Cube comparison. The standard configuration has one battery and lacks the automatic-emptying system in the official comparison table. The September announcement left US Cube pricing and availability for a later announcement, so the German euro offer should not be relabelled as a US retail launch or converted into an official dollar price.
Maintenance and ownership
A long advertised dust-storage interval is conditional on the debris load. Automatic emptying reduces direct bin handling but does not make bags, filters or the air path maintenance-free. Keep compatible replacement supplies available and inspect the dock and cleaner according to the manual, especially after collecting a large amount of hair or fine dust.
The station includes a UV feature in the product comparison. It should not be turned into a claim that the vacuum disinfects the home or provides a verified health outcome. The checked page also repeats conflicting station-dimension labels; confirm the exact footprint and clearance with the applicable manual before allocating a tight storage space.
Decide whether the station earns its space
Cube is a stronger shortlist when its automatic emptying and second battery solve repeated daily problems. Standard V50 may be sufficient where manual emptying is straightforward and the one-pack runtime matches the job. Compare those practical differences with the dated price gap instead of assuming the entire cleaner is fundamentally different.
A competing cordless model may offer another head, filtration arrangement or service network, while selling its auto-empty dock separately. Compare the full package, including bags and batteries, and keep regional offers separate. The best fit is the configuration that completes the intended cleaning routine with an acceptable amount of handling, storage and ongoing care.

What changes between V50 and V50 Cube?
The checked German table gives both 210 AW. V50 has one battery and no automatic emptying; Cube adds a second battery, an auto-empty station, active dock detangling and dust scraping.
Does the runtime apply to normal carpet cleaning?
The maximum is measured in Eco mode with the crevice tool: up to 90 minutes per battery. Cube’s 180-minute figure combines two packs. Powered-head and high-power use have different demands.
Does the complete vacuum weigh 1.4 kg?
The 1.4 kg headline describes the handheld unit. It should not be used as the weight of the full stick assembly with floor head and tube.
Can it wash hard floors or pick up liquids?
This guide covers a dry cordless vacuum. Do not assume wet pickup or floor-washing capability from Narwal’s separate robot-mop and wet-dry ranges.
Which price belongs to this configuration?
The selected German Cube standard package showed €549 including VAT on 12 September 2026. The shared page’s €399 starting price belongs to standard V50; conditional coupons are separate.
Is US availability confirmed?
Narwal’s September 2026 announcement said US V50 Cube pricing and availability would follow later. This guide uses a German offer and does not assert a US retail launch.
Which maintenance claims should I check?
Automatic emptying still needs compatible bags, filters and air-path care. The page’s 100-day storage claim is conditional, and its conflicting station-dimension labels need confirmation for tight spaces.

WCB interpretation: The V50-to-Cube difference is primarily battery count and post-cleaning handling. Cross-brand offers use different markets and runtime test conditions.
