Stanley Black & Decker Q3 Revenue Holds Steady
The group reported approximately USD 3.756 billion in sales.
News date:

Stanley Black & Decker reported third-quarter 2025 sales of approximately USD 3.756 billion on November 4, broadly level with the previous year. Pricing increased the revenue comparison by five percentage points and currency by one point, offsetting a six-point decline in volume.
The company's results recorded reported earnings of USD 0.34 per share and adjusted earnings of USD 1.43. The difference included specified charges, while a tax benefit also affected the quarter. Gross margin reached 31.4%, with the adjusted measure at 31.6%.
Management attributed margin progress to pricing and supply-chain efficiency, partly offset by tariffs, lower volume and inflation. The release also recorded USD 169 million in non-cash impairments following portfolio and brand reviews, including certain trade names and minority investments. These accounting charges are separate from the cash generated through daily operations.
Operating cash flow was USD 221 million, and free cash flow was USD 155 million. Stanley Black & Decker updated its full-year planning assumptions while continuing its cost-reduction program. The report covers the tools, outdoor and fastening businesses for the third quarter; later annual results and the subsequent aerospace-business sale announcement represent separate developments in the company's financial and portfolio timeline.
