Roborock introduced its Saros flagship range on January 5, 2025, ahead of CES. The most distinctive model, Saros Z70, carried a folding five-axis robotic arm called OmniGrip, intended to move selected objects so the vacuum could clean the floor beneath them.

The company announcement specified an initial set of supported items: socks, small towels, tissues and sandals weighing less than 300 grams. That defined a limited tidying function within a cleaning routine, rather than a general-purpose arm capable of handling arbitrary household objects.

Two other Saros models took different approaches to navigation. Saros 10 used a retractable laser module to enter lower spaces, while Saros 10R replaced the conventional navigation tower with a system using depth sensing and a camera. Both were presented as slim flagship machines, alongside the more visibly experimental arm-equipped design.

The same release introduced the F25 wet-and-dry cleaner family, including a lay-flat configuration for cleaning beneath furniture, and discussed expansion of Roborock's laundry appliances. Z70 sales were expected during the first half of 2025, with the broader Saros range reaching major markets during the year. The CES announcement established the product direction and planned rollout, rather than immediate worldwide availability.
