Pudu Launches BG1 Series for Large Commercial and Industrial Floors
The BG1 range expanded Pudu's cleaning portfolio into large scrubber-dryer applications.
News date:

Pudu Robotics introduced the BG1 series on March 25, 2026, expanding its commercial cleaning range into large scrubber-dryers. The company targets warehouses, industrial plants, retail complexes and transport facilities, where larger floor areas require a different machine format from its existing CC1 and MT1 families.
The launch announcement describes an integrated workflow in which a front module collects dry debris and a rear module scrubs the floor. An extending scrubbing brush reaches toward walls and shelving. The robot can retract sweeping components when it detects wet spills and increase brush pressure for stubborn dirt, according to Pudu.
Navigation combines visual mapping and LiDAR, while the cleaning controls use floor-condition assessment to adjust treatment. Separate detergent tanks support automatic dosing. A working station handles water exchange, charging and self-cleaning, and the machine also provides a manual ride-on mode for relocation, initial mapping or operator intervention.
Pudu planned to present BG1 at MODEX in Atlanta and Interclean Amsterdam in April. The introduction broadened the sizes and tasks covered by its cleaning portfolio, with the larger platform bringing debris collection, scrubbing and automated servicing into one workflow for expansive facilities. The announcement did not set one delivery date for every market.
