Mammotion Announces SPINO S1 Pro Kickstarter Campaign
The proposed pool-cleaning system uses a robotic arm to retrieve the cleaner for charging.
News date:

Mammotion announced a Kickstarter campaign for SPINO S1 Pro on April 27, 2026, with reservations scheduled to open the next day. The campaign announcement set a closing date of May 28 and introduced a pool-cleaning system with an arm-assisted charging dock.
The Pro model's AutoShoreCharge station is designed to lift the robot from the pool onto the deck for recharging. Mammotion also described underwater communication within a 10-metre radius of the dock to support return navigation. The docking arrangement aims to reduce the manual retrieval normally required by a cordless pool cleaner.
The cleaning system combines camera and other sensor inputs for navigation, with dual roller brushes and layered filtration. A separate SPINO S1 was offered without the Pro's self-docking station, making the dock a material difference between the two packages rather than a standard feature of both.
The company listed a limited-quantity early-backer price of USD 1,699 for S1 Pro, followed by a USD 1,999 tier, and USD 899 for S1. Those figures describe April 2026 crowdfunding offers. The event was the opening of a reservation campaign, with fulfillment and subsequent retail availability separate from the announcement itself.
