iRobot Highlights AWE Participation in Post-Picea Update
The company’s regional statement links product renewal with its global relaunch.
News date:

iRobot's Italian press office outlined the company's post-acquisition product direction in an April 13, 2026 update, linking its AWE exhibition presence with an expanded household-robotics portfolio. The statement followed completion of the Picea transaction and highlighted Roomba Mini as an example of its new product activity.
AWE took place in Shanghai from March 12 to 15. The Italian team said it attended the exhibition, where iRobot previewed products planned for 2026. Roomba Mini was positioned as a compact option intended to bring robotic cleaning to additional households and smaller spaces.
The update also described the operating structure under Picea. iRobot would retain its headquarters in Bedford, Massachusetts, with engineering, product development and marketing remaining in the United States. Manufacturing would be concentrated in Picea's factories. These statements concern the distribution of corporate and production responsibilities following the ownership change.
For the Italian market, distributor Nital connected the new portfolio with clearer product segmentation and consumer communication. The announcement was a regional account of iRobot's global direction rather than a separate China-only retail launch. Its practical focus was the continuation of the Roomba brand, new product development and the roles of the U.S. operation and manufacturing partner.
