Dyson proposed changes affecting some creative roles as it reorganized its in-house agency structure, the Gazette and Herald reported on February 26, 2026. The company said the transition combined recruitment with proposed redundancies, while its overall UK employee count was expected to remain unchanged.

The new in-house creative agency was centred in London, where Dyson said it had invested in specialist teams and worked with production partners. A creative team would remain in Malmesbury to collaborate closely with the company's engineers. The proposal concerned roles reporting into the global function, rather than Dyson's individual market organizations.

No exact number of proposed redundancies was provided. Dyson said it was supporting affected employees, but the report did not establish that all proposed departures had been completed. The announcement described a change in where and how creative work was organized, with hiring continuing alongside that process.

Malmesbury hosts research, engineering, creative and support activities, as well as the Dyson Institute of Engineering and Technology. The February account focused on the creative organization within that wider operation. It was a separate event from the larger back-office staffing proposal reported later in July, and the two should not be treated as one confirmed redundancy total.
