China Online Robot-Vacuum Sales Reach CNY 16.6 Billion
AVC’s January–October figures show growth in both value and units.
News date:

China's robot-vacuum market recorded growth in both sales value and unit volume during January–October 2025. AVC figures published on November 18 put cumulative retail sales at approximately CNY 16.6 billion, up 17% year on year, with 5.28 million units sold, an increase of 18.5%.
The report also highlighted the emerging roller-mop segment. AVC placed sales of robots using a fresh-water roller system at about one million units over the ten-month period. Within that defined segment, ECOVACS accounted for 91.9% of units and 91.5% of sales value, according to the figures reported at the time.
Those shares describe the roller category, not the entire robot-vacuum market. The distinction is significant because a company's position in a new cleaning mechanism can differ substantially from its share across all navigation, mop and price configurations.
The ten-month figures preceded the Double 11 cleaning-appliance review, which reported a weaker result during the year-end promotion. The two releases cover different measurement windows and product scopes. Together, they document both cumulative category expansion and the softer promotional trading conditions that appeared later in 2025.
