DJI announced the European rollout of its ROMO robot vacuum series on October 28, 2025, bringing technology developed for drones into household floor cleaning. The company announcement described a phased introduction through DJI's online store and authorized retailers, with availability depending on the country.

ROMO combines dual fisheye cameras with solid-state LiDAR sensors to recognize obstacles and plan cleaning routes. DJI says the system can identify small objects such as charging cables and adjust its approach to furniture, loose items and floor debris. The robot also changes its travel speed and side-brush rotation when it detects material that could scatter.

The cleaning system includes extending arms, an onboard water tank and a base station that washes the mop pads and removes dirty water. The premium ROMO P adds transparent panels on both the robot and station, as well as a separate compartment for floor deodorizer. Cleaning plans and water-tank alerts are managed through the DJI Home app.

The release places ROMO alongside DJI's established drone and camera businesses as a new consumer product category. It provides the European introduction schedule; individual retailers and national stores determine which configurations are offered locally.
