China Online Cleaning Appliance Sales Fall during Double 11
AVC recorded CNY 9.5 billion across the measured promotion window.
News date:

China's online cleaning-appliance market recorded lower sales during Double 11 in 2025, with spending falling much faster than the number of products sold. AVC data published on November 26 put retail sales at CNY 9.5 billion, down 17% year on year, and volume at 5.28 million units, down 1%.
The monitoring period covered weeks 41–46. AVC attributed the comparison partly to the strong subsidy-supported base in 2024 and purchases brought forward earlier in 2025. Compared with the equivalent 2023 promotion, the report still showed higher sales value and volume.
Performance varied by category. Robot vacuums and conventional vacuums declined, while wet floor cleaners and window-cleaning robots were broadly stable. Fabric cleaners and other smaller cleaning categories grew. Most categories also faced lower average prices, helping explain the gap between the value and volume results.
The promotion figures should be placed alongside the January–October robot-vacuum report, which showed cumulative growth before the year-end shopping festival. A weaker Double 11 result and a stronger ten-month total can coexist because they measure different periods and, in this case, different product scopes.
