Samsung Outlines New Bespoke AI Robot Cleaner for Korea
The announced rollout was planned for March.
News date:

Samsung introduced its 2026 Bespoke AI Steam robot-cleaner range in South Korea on February 11, with Ultra, Plus and Standard configurations. Regional reporting described a staged rollout, beginning with presales for Ultra and continuing with broader sales from March.
The new range focuses on navigation, wet cleaning and station maintenance. Reported features include recognition of liquid spills, wheels designed to cross thresholds up to 45 millimeters high, and extending cleaning components for edges. The range also includes an automatic water-supply and drainage option, reducing the need to refill and empty station tanks manually.
Samsung emphasized connected-device security alongside cleaning performance. The presentation described Knox-based protection for sensitive information and security monitoring across devices connected through SmartThings. The company's subsequent Korean newsroom demonstration also identifies the 2026 machine's sensing and processing platform.
Ultra and Plus were scheduled for official sales on March 3, while Standard was planned for April. The February announcement concerned Korean models and local installation choices, including freestanding and plumbed versions. Those configurations give households different ways to manage dock water, with installation requirements forming part of the purchase decision. Release dates and model names in other countries follow separate regional announcements.
