ECOVACS Shows WINBOT W3 Station System at AWE
The Chinese exhibition presentation emphasizes automatic pad care.
News date:

ECOVACS presented its WINBOT W3 window-cleaning system at AWE in Shanghai on March 12, 2026. China Household Electrical Appliances Association's news service described the Chinese WG858-01EA configuration, with a station that automates washing of the cleaning pad.
The station separates clean and dirty water in individual tanks. Its pad-washing arrangement combines spraying and mechanical cleaning, with different wash modes and a self-cleaning function for the station itself. This addresses the work required after a window-cleaning pass, when a soiled pad would otherwise need manual attention before further use.
On the glass, the machine uses a spray system and route planning to move through the cleaning area. The exhibition coverage also described app control and a return to the starting point after completing the task. These functions concern the robot's movement and cleaning sequence, while the station handles a different part of the overall workflow.
Window robots still require correct placement, tethering and use on compatible surfaces. Automatic pad washing does not change those basic operating requirements. The AWE presentation provided details of the named Chinese model and was separate from the earlier U.S. announcement, where the regional product name, configuration and commercial offer need to be checked independently.
