Litian Intelligent completed a pre-Series B financing round exceeding CNY 100 million, according to a March 13, 2026 report from Shangshi Zhijia carried by Sina Finance. The reported investors included Capital Today, existing backer Yaotu Capital and Chanshi Capital.

The funding was intended for automated solar-module installation technology, international industrial operations and market expansion. The company's focus in this announcement is installation robotics: machines that assist with placing photovoltaic modules during construction. That application is distinct from robots used to clean panels after a solar plant begins operating.

Founded in July 2022, Litian was reported to have expanded into markets including Australia, South Africa, the Middle East, Europe and South America. The article described repeat Australian orders and a Middle Eastern project using robots in staged deployment. These were accounts of the company's commercial progress accompanying the financing news.

Management's stated ambition was to extend its product offering from installation toward automation across the solar plant lifecycle. The financing gives that development program additional capital, but it is not itself a delivery contract or proof of a fully automated power station. The immediate event is the completed funding round and its planned use in technology and overseas growth.
