What the station changes
The MOVA T1 Station puts the battery, robot storage and cable handling into a portable base. For a home with compatible large panes, that arrangement can reduce the repeated unpacking involved in a separate-adapter system. It also changes what must be carried and where it can be placed. The published station weight is 8.2 kg, before considering the robot separately; the 6 kg counterweight mentioned in marketing is not the weight of the complete station.
Plan a realistic route through the home before purchase. A convenient handle does not remove stairs, narrow landings or the need for a suitable floor beside each window. The station should make a recurring cleaning task easier enough to justify those handling demands.

The official manual distinguishes approximately 80 minutes of cleaning from at least 30 minutes of emergency reserve. This resolves an important ambiguity in the approximately 110-minute headline. Estimate the number of panes from working time, including the chosen cleaning intensity, and leave room for transfers and cloth changes. The reserve is not another window-cleaning session waiting to be used.
Battery operation also retains a physical connection between robot and station. Think of it as freedom from a nearby outlet during the working period, not freedom from a cable. An accessible starting position remains essential so a low-battery return or manual retrieval can be handled comfortably.
Window eligibility and station placement
Check the regional manual before relying on general edge-detection claims. The Australian instructions exclude frameless glass and distinguish a normal maximum pane of 2.5 × 4 m from 2.5 × 8 m in Zone Cleaning. That mode distinction matters for wide glazed doors: a maximum-size number alone does not describe the complete workflow.
The base needs a smooth, flat, seamless floor near the window and must not sit on an elevated sill or countertop. Secure its safety tether according to the manual. A suction base and automatic cable reel do not replace that preparation. If your intended windows cannot accommodate the installation, a feature-rich station will not solve the access problem.
Warm spray and corner brushes
The Australian product page specifies four rotating corner brushes and water up to 40°C at the outlet. These features address different parts of the job: brush contact near corners and liquid application before wiping. They do not establish that dried paint, mineral deposits or every frame edge will be removed. Inspect an initial result before choosing more passes or stronger settings.
The warm-water function requires app activation and time for the line to clear its residual cold water. It is not steam treatment. Owners should also distinguish dirt removal from sanitizing claims; no disinfecting performance is inferred here. Use the prescribed window solution and keep the cloth appropriately damp rather than saturated.
