SwitchBot presented Onero H1 ahead of CES in a January 4, 2026 announcement, extending its smart-home portfolio toward a robot intended to perform multiple household tasks. The company described a platform with 22 degrees of freedom and an onboard vision-language-action model.

The CES release says Onero H1 combines visual perception, depth information and tactile feedback to understand objects and physical contact. Demonstrated or intended actions include grasping, pushing, opening and organizing, taking the concept beyond a device built solely for vacuuming or another single chore.

SwitchBot positioned the robot as part of an ecosystem that also includes its existing task-specific devices. That places coordination between products alongside the robot's own handling ability: a household system needs to understand both the object in front of it and the task it is being asked to complete.

The company said Onero H1 and its A1 robotic arms would become available for preorder through its website, without the release confirming a complete consumer shipping timetable. The CES presentation outlined the platform and development direction. It did not establish that every displayed action would be supported in every home at launch, making the eventual product configuration and release documentation important parts of the commercial rollout.
