eufy Launches Omni S2 Pro in the US with UV-C Floor Disinfection
The $1,699.99 flagship adds UV-C lights to the S2's electrolysed-water mopping and raises suction to 40,000 Pa.
News date:

eufy, the smart-home brand of Anker Innovations, launched the Robot Vacuum Omni S2 Pro in the United States on November 1, 2026. The US product page lists it at USD 1,699.99. It sits above the Omni S2, which eufy showed at CES in January and put on sale in Japan in May.
The main addition is UV-C. Six UV-C LEDs on the underside of the robot shine light at 270–280 nm onto the floor as it cleans, and they switch off when the robot is lifted or tipped over. The S2's electrolysis system stays: the station turns tap water into a solution containing hypochlorous acid and ozone, which is used both to mop and to clean the mop. eufy says the two methods together kill 99.99% of floor bacteria, citing TÜV and SGS testing. Those are manufacturer-reported laboratory results.
Peak suction rises to 40,000 Pa from 30,000 Pa on the S2. The HydroJet 3.0 roller mop mops with water at 55°C and presses down with 16 N. The station washes the roller with water at up to 100°C, compared with 60°C on the S2, then dries it with warm air. The robot can now recognise more than 360 types of obstacle, up from about 200, and avoids objects about 1 cm tall. eufy says recognition runs on the device.
Coverage of the launch says eufy calls the S2 Pro the first robot vacuum to combine UV-C light with electrolysed water. The product continues the premium roller-mop competition among Chinese brands in the US, where Roborock, Dreame, Ecovacs and Narwal all sell flagships above USD 1,000.
