Dreame Confirms Four Core Business Directions
The company described a reallocation of research, people and capital.
News date:

Dreame confirmed a reorganization around four business directions on June 29, 2026: smart homes, outdoor yard care, smart mobility and embodied intelligence. The company described the changes to Red Star Capital Bureau after reports of a wider restructuring circulated in Chinese media.
Dreame said it had reviewed its business structure and would concentrate research, staffing and financial resources around those areas. The statement sets out a more defined group of priorities for a company whose activities had expanded beyond floor-cleaning appliances. It did not provide a budget allocation or an implementation timetable for each business.
The newspaper also interviewed current and former employees who described reductions in individual teams. Those accounts were part of the reporting, but Dreame had not confirmed the widely circulated estimate for total job losses by publication. The confirmed strategic structure and the reported staffing experiences therefore have different levels of company verification.
For the cleaning industry, the four-part structure keeps household appliances and outdoor equipment within Dreame's stated priorities while also retaining newer technology fields. The June statement did not identify every product programme affected or announce the closure of its existing cleaning operations. Further decisions about individual businesses would require their own company disclosures.
