Beatbot Introduces AquaSense X with AstroRinse Cleaning Station
The CES announcement paired the pool robot with a station designed to rinse its filter after users dock it.
News date:

Beatbot introduced AquaSense X and the AstroRinse Cleaning Station on January 5, 2026, ahead of CES. The announcement focused on a maintenance step that remains manual for many pool robots: cleaning the filter after the machine has collected debris.
The robot combines camera-based vision with infrared and ultrasonic sensing. Beatbot described cleaning coverage that extends from underwater surfaces to the water surface, with the sensing system helping it navigate the pool. The product announcement set out the manufacturer's intended capabilities rather than an independent comparison of cleaning results.
AstroRinse was designed to wash the filter, collect the removed debris and recharge the cleaner once it had been placed on the station. The owner still transfers the robot from the pool to the dock. The automation therefore concerns filter care and charging after retrieval; it is not an autonomous pool-exit system.
The CES release established the product concept and station workflow. Beatbot later issued a separate April sales announcement, which added pricing and a trade-up program. Keeping the two stages distinct separates the January unveiling from the later commercial offer and gives readers a clearer record of when the product moved toward purchase availability.
