Tennant Reports Record 2024 Sales and Announces X6 ROVR
Annual sales reached $1.287 billion as Tennant prepared a larger autonomous scrubber for 2025.
News date:

Tennant reported record annual sales and announced a larger autonomous floor scrubber when it released its 2024 results on February 17, 2025. Net sales reached $1.2867 billion, an increase of 3.5% over the previous year, while adjusted EBITDA rose to $208.8 million from $192.9 million.
Reported net income declined to $83.7 million. The difference matters because adjusted EBITDA excludes items included in net earnings: the increase in that operating measure did not mean every measure of profitability improved. The earnings announcement sets out the company's financial results and reconciliation of the adjusted figures.
The new X6 ROVR was positioned for larger commercial facilities, including warehouses, hospitals, schools and retail locations. Tennant paired the autonomous scrubber with an autonomous charging station, extending its robotics offering to work that involves repeated cleaning routes across substantial floor areas. Commercial availability was planned for the second quarter of 2025.
The announcement brought the product launch and annual financial update together, with equipment development continuing alongside the company's established cleaning-machine business. These figures describe 2024 performance. The subsequent 2025 results report covers the later sales decline and disruption associated with Tennant's North American business-system transition.
