STIHL Inc. Appoints Sean McGinnis President
The appointment covers the U.S. subsidiary, including manufacturing and sales.
News date:

STIHL appointed Sean McGinnis president of its U.S. subsidiary, effective October 1, 2026. The company announcement gives him responsibility for STIHL Inc.'s financial performance, Virginia Beach manufacturing and operations, and U.S. sales and marketing.
McGinnis reports to the STIHL Executive Board and joins the U.S. subsidiary's board and global executive team. This is a U.S. operating appointment, not a change of group chief executive.
The remit brings production and commercial leadership together in the group's largest market. STIHL's release describes a U.S. network of more than 10,000 authorized dealers, making dealer relationships a central part of the role.
