- The article argues that category boundaries among robot vacuums, robotic mowers and robotic pool cleaners are increasingly being crossed.

One post takes you through the cleaning industry's performance at CES.
Indoor Cleaning
1. Dreame
Dreame probably had the largest booth at CES this time, with a total booth area of 2,000 square meters. From getting off the plane to entering the venue, Dreame logos were everywhere.
This time Dreame exhibited more than 150 products, extending from cleaning appliances to various technology products.
The globally debuted X60 series robot vacuum refreshed the limits of mechanical design in the industry. The Cyber 10 Ultra robot vacuum with a robotic arm revealed the future development direction of the industry. The six-legged tracked stair-climbing robot once again lit up the entire venue, and embodied robots also began to show more landing scenarios. Kosmera, the car brand from the Dreame system, made its CES debut, and the supercar styling stole the spotlight.
The arrival of NBA star Derrick Rose made the booth packed.
Dreame Group, with 18,000 employees, is no longer just a cleaning-appliance company. It has become a large technology group.
2025 was a year of comprehensive layout for Dreame. Under founder Yu Hao, Dreame's ceiling in 2026 may be even more shocking.
2. Roborock
In 2025, Roborock was crowned the world's No. 1 robot vacuum brand by both sales value and sales volume.
By contrast, iRobot, the former world No. 1 robot vacuum brand, went completely bankrupt and was acquired by Picea. In just six years, the industry structure has undergone earth-shaking changes.
This time Roborock spent heavily on brand building. On January 2, it officially announced a partnership with Real Madrid, the king of Europe and the Spanish football giant. “Greatest meeting Greatest” allowed the world's No. 1 robot vacuum brand to spread from the football pitch to the whole world.
Roborock brought all of its heavyweight products: Qrevo robot vacuums, RockMow robotic mowers, F25 hard floor washers, vacuum cleaners, Zeo X washing machines, and a series of other products.
The most eye-catching product was G-Rover, the world's first stair-cleaning climbing robot.
By innovatively introducing a wheel-leg structure, the G-Rover robot vacuum can not only climb stairs, but also clean stairs. From comprehensive performance, G-Rover can be called the most powerful robot vacuum body.
After watching Roborock's partnership with Real Madrid with envy, I could not help asking Roborock president Quan Gang: Captain, when will we play a friendly match with Real Madrid?
3. MOVA
MOVA, a brand that has risen rapidly in recent years, also charged out of the cleaning-appliance industry and expanded its business into more sectors.
MOVA's current territory includes cleaning appliances, major appliances, power tools, robotic mowers and more.
How should one evaluate MOVA as a company?
I think calling it an innovation maniac is not excessive. After receiving strong praise at last year's IFA for installing a robotic arm on a robotic mower, this time it installed a robotic arm on the Rover Master robotic pool cleaner, expanding the capabilities of robotic pool cleaners.
Perhaps feeling that a robotic arm alone was not enough, it directly combined the MOVA Pilot 70 drone flight module with a robot vacuum, allowing it to fly to second floors, balconies and other places.
Several years ago, before DJI ROMO was released, I made a joke about this. I did not expect MOVA to actually realize it. But does this also remind DJI that next time it may be DJI ROMO with wings?
In the past two days, friends have asked whether I heard that MOVA sold several hundred million U.S. dollars during Black Friday. I said I was not sure, but given MOVA's team execution and innovation capability, all of this may only be the beginning.
4. Ecovacs
As one of China's earliest cleaning-appliance companies, Ecovacs comes to CES as if returning home. It is already extremely familiar with the event.
This time it brought several heavyweight products, such as the X12, an upgraded version of the hot-selling X11 all-in-one dock robot vacuum; the newly released UltraMarine robotic pool cleaner; the upgraded Goat robotic mower series; Winbot W3 Omni, a window-cleaning robot with a station; and the innovative smart companion robotic pet Lilmilo. This also marks Ecovacs' exploration of embodied intelligence as a veteran cleaning-appliance company.
On the eve of CES, Ecovacs Group CEO Qian Cheng released a new brand concept: “Ecovacs, creating without difficulty.” This declared Ecovacs' ambition to bring all-category robots truly into home life and cover more scenarios.
Under young leadership, Ecovacs Group's move toward the grander future of embodied intelligence is also something to watch.
5. Narwal
Narwal is an innovative technology company. It has reached its current position in a cleaning-appliance industry surrounded by giants, while maintaining a startup posture, and has achieved several tens of billions of RMB in sales. This is already a miracle.
Founder Zhang Junbin has also transformed through years of battling giants, from an inexperienced startup founder into a mentally resilient business leader.
This time, under the theme “All for a Clean Home,” Narwal appeared with 12 products across four categories, including the flagship Narwal Flow 2 robot vacuum, hard floor washers, mite removers and a group of vacuum cleaners.
From January 3 to 5, national leaders conducted research in Guangdong. Narwal, as a representative of innovative technology, also participated in the symposium, representing national recognition of innovative companies like Narwal. No matter how the future industry structure evolves, Narwal will have a place.
6. Eureka
Eureka, with a hundred-year history, began to regain vitality after being acquired by Midea Group.
At CES this time, it launched several new cleaning devices covering robot vacuums, handheld steam cleaners, and the E10 bagless station. These products also showed Eureka's product technology.
Midea's accumulation in cleaning appliances over the years has begun to feed back into brands such as Eureka, allowing this century-old brand to begin catching up with and overtaking its North American competitors. In the future, as global competition becomes more intense, black swans such as trade wars and anti-dumping actions will continue to appear and squeeze the survival space of major brands. Only companies with global layouts like Midea will have the possibility of survival.
Yard Cleaning
1. Segway Navimow
At CES this time, Segway Navimow launched nine new smart robotic mowers in one go, seamlessly covering all scenarios from small home yards to large commercial lawns. The i2 series is for home scenarios and small lawns of 600 to 1,000 square meters. The H2 series is for medium and large lawns of 1,000 to 2,000 square meters. The X4 series is the flagship model with full performance, covering 4,000 to 6,000 square meters. Terranox is a commercial-grade product focusing on 12,000 to 24,000 square meters.
In 2025, Segway Navimow should have sold around RMB 1.5 billion of robotic mowers. According to Segway Navimow's battle report, it is the world's No. 1 robotic mower brand.
Launching nine robotic mowers at once basically covers all scenarios. It is hard to imagine what kind of company can develop so many products in one year.
After the EU launched an anti-dumping investigation in 2025, in addition to actively responding to the EU investigation, everyone needed to find new growth curves. The North American home market and commercial-grade market have the best profits and are coveted by everyone. Segway Navimow's launch of these nine products at once undoubtedly put it ahead of all peers.
Friends at Segway Navimow previously told me they would not make robot vacuums. I felt that was a pity, because I really wanted to see what kind of product they could make in the robot vacuum industry. Since they are not making robot vacuums, the next new category is most likely robotic pool cleaners.
I look forward to Segway Navimow also making an eye-catching product in robotic pool cleaners in 2026.
2. Mammotion
Mammotion, under AgileX Robotics, officially announced that it became the world's No. 1 brand by sales value for boundary-wire-free robotic mowers during 2024 and 2025.
This brought this previously little-known industry champion to the surface.
This time Mammotion brought the LUBA series and YUKA series to robotic mowers. Its flagship LUBA 3 AWD series, an all-wheel-drive model, is the industry's first triple-fusion positioning solution: 360-degree LiDAR as the main navigation, dual-camera AI instant recognition, and NetRTK precise correction. This greatly improves outdoor positioning accuracy for robotic mowers in various environments.
Even more eye-catching is its robotic pool cleaner Spino S1 Pro, the world's first robotic pool cleaner that can automatically come ashore and return to its dock.
Its breakthrough automatic shore-return docking system integrates tracks with mechanical coordination, enabling the robot to autonomously climb the slope and return to land for charging after cleaning. It effectively solves the pain points of robotic pool cleaner charging and retrieval.
Because of explosive performance in 2025, Mammotion also gave Mercedes-Benz cars and other luxury vehicles to multiple employees, making peers extremely envious. We will wait and see how Mammotion creates another strong result in 2026.
3. Beatbot Innovation
Beatbot Innovation, a high-end robotic pool cleaner brand, released its first product with a self-cleaning station at CES: AquaSense X. Its core breakthrough lies in the innovation of the Astri Rinse station. After cleaning ends, the robot automatically returns to the station, where high-pressure rotating nozzles rinse the filter. Debris is directly collected in the station's 22 L water tank, realizing fully autonomous operation of a robotic pool cleaner, with no manual garbage-bag replacement needed for two months.
Robot vacuum stations are already standard. Next, stations for robotic pool cleaners and robotic mowers can also be expected to become the technical direction for product updates across brands.
In 2025, Beatbot Innovation shocked the entire industry by raising RMB 1 billion. In the same year, it also acquired Zongguan Innovation and strongly entered the robotic mower industry. It is foreseeable that Beatbot's robotic mowers in 2026 will be eye-catching. The more likely direction is a robotic mower station.
Who will be first to launch the world's first robotic mower station product?
4. Aiper Intelligent
As the Chinese brand with the largest shipment volume in the robotic pool cleaner industry, Aiper Intelligent was very active in 2025.
In April, it received RMB 1 billion in financing and entered a strategic partnership with Spanish pool equipment giant Fluidra, binding itself to this major channel.
At CES this time, Aiper Intelligent's debut product Scuba V3 Ultra was the world's first six-in-one intelligent robotic pool cleaner. Through an integrated design, it can complete six major tasks: water surface cleaning, 20 cm shallow-water cleaning, pool-floor cleaning, waterline cleaning and water-quality management.
Aiper also brought the world's first four-in-one multi-zone smart irrigation system, IrriSense 2. This is a yard irrigation product integrating controller, sprinkler head, battery valve and nutrient-solution spraying functions.
As a leading smart robotic pool cleaner brand by global sales value in 2025, it was somewhat curious that Aiper did not release a robotic mower this time. After all, mutual penetration among yard-robot companies is now normal: pool brands make mowers, and mower brands make pool cleaners.
Will Aiper release its first robotic mower in 2026?
What special functions will it have?
I will hold a home-appliance, power-tool and robotic mower ecosystem exhibition in Shenzhen on March 26-27, 2026. I will also invite procurement and R&D people from the brands above to attend.
If your product technology is competitive, I recommend that you sign up to exhibit and connect with them. You are welcome to message me privately.
