Cleaning Appliances Industry Gathering
Since I announced two weeks ago that I was planning a gathering for the cleaning appliances industry, many old friends from the industry have shown their support. Their enthusiasm exceeded my expectations, and several friends directly transferred money to sponsor gifts.
During this preparation period, my personal thoughts have been continuously evolving. The core question is: What kind of gathering do I want to create?
Cleaning appliances experienced a significant boom between 2020-23, with billions of dollars flooding into the industry, making it unprecedentedly prosperous but also laying the groundwork for its decline in 2022. By 2025, companies that should have thrived had already done so, and those that were supposed to fold had already closed their doors. Especially last year and this year, many friends expressed confusion about direction and felt very lost.
How do I view 2025? Since 2022, the catchphrase has been "things will be better next year," but reality often dealt more blows than expected. Has cleaning appliances reached its peak?
My perspective is that from 19-22, it was the first wave of development for cleaning appliances; from 22-25, there began a downturn followed by a rebound. The fastest growth will likely occur in 2026-27 as both product and sales potential have yet to be fully realized, especially in overseas markets.
Considering these factors, I define 2025 as the second launch of cleaning appliances into a new era. In the future, there will be new manufacturing giants and brand giants; we hope to participate rather than merely observe the industry's ups and downs.
Approximately 300 people have already signed up for the gathering, with participants including:
- Members from various component suppliers in cleaning appliances.
- Bosses of cleaning appliance manufacturers.
- Leading brand clients in the industry.
- Leaders from merchant associations and home appliance associations, as well as some investment bankers.
I invited almost everyone I could think of to this event.
The purpose of various agendas is to give attendees a sense of the current state and future prospects of the industry, sparking ideas through discussions. Currently, the topics for sharing are:
- Yu Dani shares "Cleaning Appliances Entering the Age of Great Voyages"... Sharing personal insights on the industry and future plans.
- Shi Zong from China Merchants Securities: Government Subsidies and Tariffs: Half Fire, Half Sea. Shi will discuss the development of cleaning appliances from both primary and secondary market perspectives.
- Industry front-line leaders share: The Path to Brand Expansion Abroad. Friends who have been sharing their experiences in expanding overseas markets over the years.
- Industry front-line leaders share: How to Create a Successful Product. A senior executive from Dreame will share some valuable insights.
- An insider shares: Giant Patent Wars. Friends from patent companies will share information on industry giants' patents.
- Roundtable discussion: Where Will Cleaning Appliances Be in the Future (Viewing the future of the industry from different angles). I will act as the host, preparing questions to challenge guests and strive for a sharp exchange.
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me; I am your internet voice.
Throughout the event, there will be various draws. Currently, we have several dozen prizes, which should take about an hour just for the draws. Afterward, invited guests and sponsors will enjoy dinner together, allowing everyone to exchange ideas freely. During my last gathering in Shenzhen, many friends complained that they didn't get a chance to chat with me after the sharing session; since their main goal was to talk with me or old friends. Therefore, I have added an evening meal segment this time.
During the preparation process, I gradually gained more insight into the significance of this event. In the future, my focus will be on building IP for this industry gathering, which I plan to continue hosting as part of my personal brand. Often, making money is a matter of having the right product or opportunity; we hope to seize these opportunities with more friends in the coming days.
I would like to extend special thanks to Dreame's CEO, Yu Zong, who has generously sponsored this gathering and will send core executives for their valuable insights. Additionally, I thank Appliance Group, whose General Manager Kang Zong has been encouraging me to organize this event since last year, finally convincing me to do so. Appliance Group also provided the Grand Banquet Hall at New City Garden, a 1200-square-meter venue, significantly elevating our gathering's status.
I would like to thank all sponsors for their support; most of them did not seek any commercial benefits but purely supported my personal endeavors. I can only repay them by promoting these old friends in the event and hoping that some commercial conversions will occur.
Many friends have also donated prizes and cash, with many choosing to remain anonymous. Therefore, I silently thank you all, and if there are opportunities in the future, I will certainly return your kindness.
Thank you for everyone's support. If new friends wish to join, they can click on the link in the comments section to sign up.
